Hizzoner does not plan to start there, but he has already hinted that he's already thinking of going there. This is a well-trodden path. DeBlasio is starting with "optional" things, inflicting daily inconveniences, costs and indignities on people. I expect that most will shrug their shoulders, and either get the jab, or just avoid those activities. But it's right there in black and white, the mayor intends to escalate the restrictions.

You'll know that they're confident when they make access to the financial system dependent on their vaccine passports.

My bet is he's going to get away with it.
