AUSTIN, Texas — Mexico has barred the United States from sending migrant families back across the border, using emergency measures put in place at the start of the pandemic, the Washington Examiner has learned, a development that threatens to exacerbate the border crisis.
The decision to prohibit a great number of non-Mexican migrant families from returning to Mexico is expected to force Border Patrol to release more people into the U.S. because it lacks space at existing facilities to hold the thousands coming into custody daily.
More than 20,000 people were encountered last week in the busiest of the border’s nine regions, the Rio Grande Valley. It marked the most people ever apprehended in a week in the region.
Late last week, Mexico quietly began refusing to accept certain groups of migrant families who were caught at the border. The groups were families taken into custody crossing the border in one area but pushed back into Mexico hundreds of miles away on another part of the border, a senior Customs and Border Protection official told the Washington Examiner, confirming a local report.

I misread the title. Either way, logical and ethical solutions won’t fly in the current political climate.
This is when an American leaders would shut down ALL Mexican visas to the United States and see how fast they cave.
That is a given. That is not even debatable. However, being intelligent is not his task. His task is to destroy America as it was known and what it stood for. This he is doing well, much to the glee of those who voted for him and the pleasure of those who ensconced him in the White House. Even the sheep are content and happy as they chew their cud and pretend nothing out of the ordinary happened on January 20, 2021. The Judas Goats in the Republican Party and the Liars in the Democrat Party have them convinced that they can take control of the House in the 2022 election. Nothing is further from the truth. The Democrats will have the Nation flooded with illegals who will vote Democrat. Particularly in Republican controlled areas.
Can you blame Mexico from letting non-Mexicans from receiving “safe passage” through that country, as well as not wanting to take them back from the US.
However, you raise the key point of the responsibility of Mexico NOT letting non-Mexicans pass through their country.
Looks like Mexico needs a “Border Wall South”. We were building a “Border Wall North”.
We haven’t had leaders in a long time. We have politicians. These are what the voters prefer. Because they are just as slimy as the voters.
