These damn states have a lot more power than they are willing to put to work. They could get together, just a few of them, and stop the incredible expansion of federal powers and the destruction of our constitution right in it’s tracks if they had the backbone.
Exactly! A number of years ago, they did just that- they refused, as a small coalition of states, to enforce so e federal law that the left passed, and the fees had to back down because there was no way they could force the states to obey it really. I can’t recall what the ,aw was now, but states successfully fought and defeated it.
They risked losing federal funding, but stood their ground for the sake of their constituents. The fact that they don’t fight anymo0re like that for,us, by and large, tells us a lot about who’s side they are on now
