The US does not have a national team. We have a collection of individuals who are competing for contracts or their own pet projects after the Olympics. There are some that want to be a team, but they are getting few and far between.
I grew up before all this woke BS and massive corporate deals for athletes. All the olympians from my little resort town came back and started ski shops. No multi million dollar contracts with them to say how horrible the USA is for Nike.
