What puzzles me is that the recent spike in Covid cases (mostly the Delta variant) is mainly happening in Florida and Missouri. I looked at the state-by-state vaccination rates, and Florida is nowhere near the bottom - in fact, it is slightly above average (23rd out of 50 states). So why are these outbreaks so selective in where they are happening?

Yea, but how would they or you or anybody know these were COVID-19 cases?
The answer for those who are paying attention is they ABSOLUTELY DON'T KNOW THAT THESE ARE COVID-19 CASES!!
They don't know because as the CDC has just recently admitted, their tests cannot distinguish between the Common Flu or COVID-19.
