Well, there it is. No more hate crime charges because they are racist.
The whole idea of hate crimes is stupid and dangerous. It’s a thought crime, which is what the government decides it is.
Why do you think the DOJ has ordered the FBI to monitor local LE Dept. on hate crime charges? One is to persuade them not to list African Americans as the perpetrator of the hate crime or to not classify it as a hate crime when it truly fits the legal definition. The second is to elevate any white on black crimes as a hate crime by exaggerating the facts or to “make a determination of what is in the white man’s mind”.
They have to get the number of whites being charged with hate crimes, (fabricated or exaggerated), in order to have the “facts” fit the 2022 mid term political talking points that they are desperate to have for an issue. It doesn’t work in the data does not fit the narrative.
Personally I don’t think there should ever be a hate crime law. If you violate a law you should be found guilty of that law and punished for it just like anyone else. Equal treatment?
