Former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele called Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan a "son of a b****" for his recent remarks that he wasn't certain whether he spoke to former President Donald Trump on Jan. 6.
Steele , a frequent critic of Trump , expressed disbelief that Jordan would be uncertain of the details of his conversation with Trump surrounding Jan. 6.
"I can tell you the time, the place, the date of every conversation I've had with every president of this country, period," Steele said during a Thursday livestream for the Lincoln Project. "Going back to Bill Clinton, I can tell you where I was. I can tell you what was said. This son of a b**** is sitting up there acting like, 'Well, I don't know if it was before. I don't know if it was after. Oh, lordy, Jesus, I don't remember. I got to look at my notes.' You know, b****, what time you called the president, and you know what you said."
Steele then compared Jordan, who's a "grown a** man," to a 10-year-old who "got caught masturbating by [his] mama."
Jordan, a close Trump ally, and Indiana Rep. Jim Banks were blocked by Speaker Nancy Pelosi from serving on the chamber's commission investigating Jan. 6 after Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy selected them and three others to participate in the commission.
McCarthy subsequently pulled all five of his appointees from the commission, leaving Trump critics Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger as the only Republicans on the committee.
Trump was impeached for his words and actions preceding the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, but he was later acquitted in the Senate. He was previously impeached on two Ukraine-related charges in 2019 before being acquitted in the Senate.

Isn’t Steele the crook who abused his corporate credit card while he was Chairman of the RNC? He likes to fly first class, stay in 4 or 5 star hotels, and eating in fine restaurants....without paying with his money. He is a POS.
“Something big is coming…”
I wish I could believe that. We are so long overdue for some Trump-style winning.
In another life.
Huh? Ugh. What a crazy comment by Steele!
You might not believe it, and I can understand why you wouldn't. But our enemies do believe it, which should be instructive. If they weren't afraid, they wouldn't be pulling out all the stops to block election audits and to discredit and disqualify President Trump. Ignore their words and focus on their actions...
Hang in there, FRiend. They might own less than you think. And less than they think.
This kind of frantic language from a normally well-spoken man signals a high degree of panic. Something big is coming, and Steele’s inexplicably emotional outburst is a sign that he knows it. It’s looking to be a hot August...
Quite correct, and many thanks for your service and defense of our Great Republic.
Here is the problem as I see it:
The audits have two main parts:
1) ballot recount and analysis
2) re-canvas.
The re-count and analysis part is difficult for the Democrats to block because the audit committees have access to the ballots according to law. The Democrats will drag their feet and try to ignore subpoenas, and whine to the media - but the law is clear, so the courts will mostly have to rule in our favor.
But this phase only yields potential irregularities - the actual proof that the ballots are invalid doesn’t come until the re-canvas phase. The Democrats know all this - they know they probably can’t stop this phase - and that they don’t really need to.
The re-canvas phase involves matching ballots to addresses and actually visiting those addresses, speaking with the voters, and determining whether they exist or whether they requested the ballot and mailed it in. That is when we establish evidence of counterfeit or otherwise illegal ballots.
But re-canvassing efforts haven’t happened yet and we must assume the Democrats will do everything in their power to prevent it from happening. Unfortunately, the courts are far less likely to rule in our favor when the Democrats challenge these re-canvas efforts.
The Democrats will argue that re-canvassing is a form of voter suppression, and that auditors would have a partisan agenda and would attempt to influence voters they interview, rather than just collecting information.
The re-canvas part hasn’t begun yet, even in in AZ, and until it does, we won’t know what we are up against.
I am very glad they are doing the audit in AZ, and that they are taking similar steps in GA and PA, but it is unrealistic to think the Democrats are just going to let us reverse the election without a fierce battle.
This so-called Republican is an Obama ***-kisser.
Steele is one sick dude.
The fewer conversations he had with a POTUS, the easier this trick became.
Why do you think he fit right in as the head of the RNC?
Honestly I'd like to give Rona McDaniels the benefit of the doubt but so far, not impressed. I think Republicans are horrible at hiring, picking staff, judges etc.
