I worked with a gal who’s sister was married to Marquis Cooper, LB for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He changed the locks on the door and moved his new girlfriend into the house while she was in the hospital having their baby.
He died soon there after in boating accident off the coast of Florida.
What a piece of !!!! The guy that knew Phillips said he chalked it up to Lawrence not knowing what to do with his money. Lawrence was just a tragic story all the way around.
