Delta cases are leading to record-breaking all-time weekly case counts in some places in the U.S., including in a dozen Louisiana parishes, 10 Florida counties, three Mississippi counties and three Oregon counties. The surge is also setting all-time case records in two states: Louisiana and Hawaii, according to USA TODAY analysis of Johns Hopkins University data.

Six passengers sailing on Royal Caribbean International's Adventure of the Seas, which departed from Nassau Saturday, have tested positive for COVID-19. All are American citizens.
Fully vaccinated people made up nearly three-quarters of COVID-19 infections after Fourth of July events in Provincetown, the community that was examined in Massachusetts, according to a CDC study published Friday in the agency’s Mortality and Morbidity Weekly Report. CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said in a statement that the findings "raised concern that, unlike with other variants, vaccinated people infected with delta can transmit the virus." Of the 900 cases related to the Provincetown cluster, there have been no deaths, 7 hospitalizations, and the symptoms are largely mild.
Thanks.
In your rating system, how does “good” compare to “strong”?
Recall when they started with the lottery gimmicks, free donuts, etc., there was like a one week surge before it dropped back again.
So about 60% got poked once, less than 50% poked twice.
Any updates on Moderna or J&J being approved for emergency use for the 12-18 age group yet? Only Pfizer is so far.
Any updates on the story I read that J&J is reformulating its vaccine to reduce the risk of blood clots?
I’ll wait until these ‘vaccines’ have been proven 100% safe. Thanks!
Nope! I will never get the hell shot.
There is NO “rising trend” of deaths. Deaths are averaging 343/day, which is very low compared to the high of about 4200/day back in January, and the trend is decisively dropping.

Cases have increased slightly in July, but it seems the new cases are leveling out.
Contrary to the CDC propaganda, Maryland is the only state with a significant rising trend of cases.
Thanks for the update. I checked Louisiana’s COVID-19 status again and its 7-day average “case” count is now above its January surge peak. But, as expected, its 7-day average death count is NO WHERE NEAR the corresponding January death peak, so that’s good news. I’m going to follow Louisiana to see how quick Delta “burns through” the low-vaccination state’s vulnerable before it reverts to a downward slope. I expect it will be your predicted weeks once it finds its natural peak.
There is something critical about the Provincetown outbreak that the media, and the CDC seem, somehow, to have forgotten to mention.
Twitchy linked to the details, so anyone interested can find it there, but suffice to say using that particular outbreak as justification for any renewed “mask, distancing or vaccine mandates” is the worst sort of bad faith. Turns out the outbreak followed a “party” weekend, where thousands of homosexuals gathered, and big surprise had events where all sorts of ways to spread disease were undertaken.
Like I said, you probably don’t want the details, but it’s more evidence of the CDC’s tendency to lie whenever it suits their agenda.
New study from Singapore shows same viral load in vaxxed but much quicker immune response and clearing of the infection than unvaxxed.

Kind small study but looks good to me.
Deaths are trending up;

Dr. Rochelle Walensky said in a statement that the findings “raised concern that, unlike with other variants, vaccinated people infected with delta can transmit the virus.”

My bet is those infected may or may not be infected with the delta variant. Unless the hospitals specifically sent out samples to have the DNA sequence checked, there is no means of knowing; they’re just guessing.
I think they’re using delta as an excuse for the breakthroughs. It could just as well be that after about 6 months, people who’ve been vaccinated now have a diminished immune response and the result is ADE or antibody-dependent enhancement.
from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
“ADE occurs when the antibodies generated during an immune response recognize and bind to a pathogen, but they are unable to prevent infection. Instead, these antibodies act as a “Trojan horse,” allowing the pathogen to get into cells and exacerbate the immune response.”
“In your rating system, how does “good” compare to “strong”?”
Very Weak - Weak - OK - Good - Strong - Very Strong
But it is not in relation to an absolute value - it is just a rough comparison to recent trends (rate of change).
Just trying to indicate if things seem to be relatively picking up, or slowing down.
“There is NO “rising trend” of deaths.”
Here is what CDC reports: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#trends_dailytrendscases (select “Daily Deaths” from the “View(left axis):” drop down menu above the chart)
The seven day moving average was 171 on 11 July, and has risen to 308 on 30 July.
“Turns out the (Provincetown) outbreak followed a “party” weekend, where thousands of homosexuals gathered, and big surprise had events where all sorts of ways to spread disease were undertaken.”
A kind of “worst case” super-spreader event where behaviors are among the most likely possible, to transmit the disease.
Like swimming in it.
“Louisiana’s COVID-19 status again and its 7-day average “case” count is now above its January surge peak.”
Wowsa! That can’t go on forever...
According to health records in Arizona, the vaccine with the most breakthrough cases is Pfizer, J&J the least. I don’t know if it is due to Pfizer being out first or most commonly choosed vaccine
BTW.
We discussed NO and nasal sprays before.
There is now for sale OTC in Israel Enovid- an NO based anti-viral spray.
$42 for a month’s treatment.
A spray that kills ALL viruses in the upper airway is apparently great against covid (phase 2 trials completed)
But killing all viruses in the upper airway leads to obvious ecological concerns.
Still, it could be very useful in some situations (like now).
