We have the Lantern Fly now here in the northeast thanks to contaminated imported stone from China. These things are everywhere now, literally hundreds of them in our yard. My understanding is that they are very destructive and no critters around here like to eat them.

My understanding is that they are very destructive and no critters around here like to eat them.Correct. While not critters, two fungi: Batkoa major and Beauveria bassiana are ripping through them like the '85 Bears. Nature has a way of taking care of itself.
