Tragically comical, since one of the only things you can count on with absolute certainty in this life is that you will die.
Having been at the bedside of several dying people, there is a difference in those that die with Faith & those for whom death is a black abyss & the latter is not something I care to witness again. Warming a church pew for however long (decades in one case), is not the personal relationship with God that results in peace when it’s time to leave this earth, based on my observations. My relative, for whatever reason, has “lost Jesus” according to his wife - he is terrified of dying, which is inevitable, as we all know.
