Each WalMart has its own Store Manager. If your WalMart sucks, the Store Manager probably does too.
The store I work at has a good Store Manager. I have worked for shitty Store Managers before. The difference is phenomenal.
Ah, thet is not how Walmart works, as per hrs vs benefits. Please , if you don’t know, just keep talking …
We have two stores five miles apart. One has good stock, the other is perpetually out. The mystery is that this has been going on for ten years, through numerous store managers. Of course, worse now. Both middle to upper middle demographics. I can’t figure it out.
Thanks for your comment. I’ve suspected all along that the problem was due to a bad Store Manager.
There is a Walmart app, use it.
And again in that Walmart tonight, same deal. The bird food part of the pet section seems to have completely disappeared. Hmmm....
I’d say something like “That nasty thing is will eventually end up in the ocean where millions of these vile things are already threatening marine life.”
I wonder how much their workforce will be down to afterwards.
I’d been out visiting my youngest son in Indiana for two weeks. Got home this past Tuesday, and went to my local Walmart on Wednesday, and as I said earlier on this thread, they were out of several things I needed. Yesterday, I went to my local grocery store (Price Chopper), and discovered that they have torn the whole store apart. Nothing is where it was. They are in the middle of a major renovation. The bakery is totally gone for now. The deli has been knocked down from four counters to one. They’ve got personal care items on shelves right next to the meat counter. It’s a good thing I didn’t need too many items as I would have worn myself out trying to find the stuff. Two stores in two days that are totally f*cked up.
Since Walmart was not denying access for not wearing a mask even when they were “mandatory” per local governments, I’d walk by anyway and make them chase me down if they were so inclined.
Yesterday when we went to Walmart a lady was standing at the door handing out masks. Everyone ignored her and walked on by.
This weekend I noticed ads for Food City on Real America’s Voice here in TN. Best to support them if they’re supporting a conservative network.
I live in a blue state that can potentially fine a business for not enforcing mask mandates, so I’ll wear one if a mandate is in effect and a mask required sign is posted.
As a general rule, I don't shop at walmart.
There are plenty of smaller local businesses that supply my limited needs.
I also don't clutter up my phone with 'helpful' apps that track my purchases.
I little off topic, but the long Walmart ad we just saw on TV had NOT ONE white person in it, out of about 25 people. Not even off-white, ecru, or cream.
Too bad, it’s a useful tool. Especially for those buffers looking for the “obscure” item, eh ?
They would be fired for insubordination.
My thoughts are it’s ironic the government will sue and go after folks who try to enforce actual laws (illegal invaders, rioters, etc.) but fine others for not enforcing illegal/unconstitutional mandates.
Let them levy their fines and maybe the businesses will tell them if they want their mandates enforced, they need to provide the enforcers. Kneeling to the bad guys because they use businesses as hostages just proves to them that we are willing to kneel to terrorists.
