If you think that weapons select whether people are members of one party or not, you are deluded. How would you propose that if America was attacked by China, we could possibly only take out the CCP even if that was our preference?
Mad works when there is an assurance of loss of power or loss of life. For China to suffer those kinds of loses-both human and infrastructure, they will certainly lose power too. MAD is not a treaty. MAD stands for mutually assured destruction. You kill us, we kill you. If the CCP thinks that they can win with a biological weapon, they have another thing coming. They die too. There are plenty of subs, loaded with nukes that will still have living crews. Unfortunately for the Chinese, the CCP is speaking for China, that makes China a target if war comes. Rest assured that the US would not start such a war. China would.
