Exactly. There are two ways out of this mess. The easy way is to get vaccinated. The hard way is to social distance, wear a mask when indoors with other people (i.e. grocery stores) and use hand sanitizers. And the longer people drag their heels getting vaccinated, the more likely the virus will spawn mutations that the vaccines are ineffective against. Then the vaccine producers will have to create a vaccine for that variant and we will all have to start over. If we were fighting Small Pox, we would all be really in a mess.

Of the two options you mentioned, only the 2nd, isolation, will temporarily remediate the problem.

Since the survival rate falls somewhere between 98% to 100%, why not dispense with the chaos and let the vulnerable elders just fade away?

Yes, it’s the normal way.

The best way out of this mess was to let the virus do what every single other cold virus has done.

Let it run it’s course and prophylactically treat patients at the onset of the disease, thereby gaining herd immunity at very little risk to the health of those who caught it.

But somehow the best method of addressing this virus was verboten by the powers that be, thus resulting in the death of many thousands and the disabling with long term health problems for many thousands of others.

NOTHING in how this who situation was handled was done for the good and welfare of the general populace. It was all done for the benefit of he government and big pharma.

How many antigenic regions in the vax? How many in exposure? It’s simple math. Does an RNA virus check its copies, or just make copies? More math is the rna vax 1 strand? Are the protective antibodies and immune cells created from it 1 strand. If they are more than one strand, where did the additional nucleotides come from?
The cdc admitted in its own work that a number of samples from the variant can’t be tested.. ever asked how carefully these must be stored and collected to preserve the virus just for testing.
How long can a dead, non infective virus be detected?

You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. Your screed is literally ripped from the headlines pabulum.

Do some research on virology and immunology, specifically how mutation works, and come back to us when you’re a bit more educated.

Smallpox had a 100% fatality rate once it reached the advanced stages. 100%. That means you absolutely, unequivocally are dead if you get it. SARS-COVID-19 has a 0.03% chance of death. That’s quite literally the opposite of smallpox. Using smallpox to make a point about COVID is about as intellectually dishonest as you could get.

The notion that if everyone gets vaccinated this will all go away is wrong. Even if everyone in Europe and the USA got vaccinated and stopped variants from being produced in these places, the rest of the world still exists and there are 3-5 billion people who are going to just keep churning out new varients. So getting “everyone” vaccinated is not going to work. The hit are just going to keep coming from other parts of the world.
