I think it’s insidious the a virus that your body defeats in childhood hides in your nerve cells and comes roaring back, decades later. It almost seems spiteful.
My brother had chicken pox the same time I did. He also got shingles later in life. He’s a doctor and said it sucked the big one.
I’m not an anti-vax zealot. Just don’t think I need the covid jab because I have natural immunity. If they come out with a vax specifically for the Delta variant, I will likely take it.
