There is an obvious division between red-blue in this nation mostly based on big city - small city. In the South, many people still think they are Democrat, not realizing the party has left them behind. I can also see the victim mentality in many less well off. You can see a choice between corrupt Democrats and corrupt Republicans with each side having cheer leaders. In the South, some people still think they are Republican, not realizing the party has left them behind, too. I frequently see a Pavlovian hatred of Trump caused by the MSM . “Divide the country into hostile groups has been part of the communist plans for America for over 100 Years.

Yeah, okay. Election results for Alabama:

✓*Donald J. Trump (Republican) 1,441,170 62.2%
Joe Biden (Democratic) 849,378 36.7%
Jo Jorgensen (Libertarian) 25,176 1.1%

“Half of the state’s residents (50%) identify as Republicans or lean toward the Republican Party, while a third identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party (33%).”

What “south” are you talking about? What is your expertise on southern politics?
