San Francisco voters seemed very uninformed. They had ranked choice voting and for example 5,000 people, whose first choice was the most pro-police candidate, put him second. He won by less than 3,000 votes.
A fellow freeper speculated that Boudin was helped by the fact that he shares his name with a popular sour bread brand (he has nothing to do with the bread company).
GEE, I wonder how he was lucky enough to dig up an extra 3000 votes???
