I hope he stands firm enough to see what in the heck they can actually do! Sue the State? For what? Arrest the Gov? Not gonna happen because it’ll make them look like thugs (even though they are). Send in troops... well, that would be a whole nother thing right there.

Hypothetically, what would happen if a Texas federal judge determines that the DHS is violating the laws, (plural), concerning ignoring CDC and state health directives, federal laws concerning arresting and immediately deporting illegal immigrants who are Covid positive, and other federal laws and then orders the DHS to be put under court supervision with a court appointed overseer. (This would be similar to the situations numerous police departments are in with the DOJ).
Obviously such a situation would immediately be appealed all the way to the USSC. It would be a riot to watch.
I think the DOJ may regret trying to threaten Texas since they are in violation of numerous immigration laws at this time.
