I once heard that Texas has it written onto their Constitution that they can split the state into four new states. It was that or succession. I can’t remember. Any of you Texans know. Lord knows y’all love to talk about your state history.

It was the treaty between the Texas Republic and the US. If the Feral government is going to say that treaty is invalid, then Texas is no longer a part of the U.S.
