Where’s the data to suggest that half the vaccinated are experiencing breakthrough infections? That seems wildly implausible.
My current favorite pick among the dozens of articles about breakthrough infections, is the actual CDC report that a super-spreader event had a fully-vaccinated 74% infection rate.
"In July 2021, following multiple large public events in a Barnstable County, Massachusetts, town, 469 COVID-19 cases were identified among Massachusetts residents who had traveled to the town during July 3–17; 346 (74%) occurred in fully vaccinated persons. Testing identified the Delta variant in 90% of specimens from 133 patients. Cycle threshold values were similar among specimens from patients who were fully vaccinated and those who were not."
Barnstable County is the whole of the Cape, and before you ask what the Cape's vax rate is, it was pushing 50% in May, which would actually pimp this as the near-perfect vector test case of breakthrough vs unvaxxed.
Just a quick perusal of your timeline, no meanness intended, but you are way behind the information curve.
