Nathaniel Rowland found guilty of the murder of University of South Carolina student Samantha Josephson

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The jury returned with their verdict in the trial for the murder of University of South Carolina student Samantha Josephson in 2019. The jury found Nathaniel Rowland guilty of kidnapping and guilty of the murder of Josephson. Rowland was also found guilty of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Samantha Josephson was killed on March 29, 2019.

The University of South Carolina student got into Rowland’s car in Columbia’s Five Points entertainment district without checking its license plate or having the driver say her name, authorities said. She then was trapped in the vehicle because Rowland had turned on the child locks in his backseat so the doors could only be opened from the outside, authorities said.

Investigators later found the victim’s blood and cellphone in Rowland’s black Chevrolet Impala, along with bleach, window cleaner and cleaning wipes. Her body was discovered in woods off a dirt road in Clarendon County about 65 miles away with wounds to her head, neck, face, upper body, leg and foot.

Rowland has been in the Richland County jail since his arrest a day after Josephson disappeared. He was denied bond last summer.

Many here may recall the killing of Samantha L. Josephson, the 21-year-old University of South Carolina student, who made the mistake of getting into the back seat of a car she thought was her UBER ride. It wasn't. And the driver, 22-year-old Nathaniel Rowland, kidnapped her and stabbed her to death. However, the extent of the stab wounds have now been publicly exposed, despite the MSM best efforts to hide it, thanks to the testimony of the Pathologist during the trial, that was carried live on Court TV. He stated that she was stabbed over 120 times. However, the true number will never be known, because when he got to 120 he stopped counting due to the fact that there were so many stab wounds. He said, “It gets to a point where it really doesn’t add much to the report”. What IS known, is that she was stabbed so many times, that she only had 1.3 tablespoons of blood left in her body. So little, they had trouble removing enough for routine tests.



Unable to escape the back of the vehicle, due to child safety locks installed on the doors, trapping her to an agonizing death. The autopsy report indicates she was stabbed mostly in her head (several blade wounds went through her skull and into her brain), her face, her neck, her arms, her chest, her back, she was also stabbed in her legs, and even her feet. Several of the stab wounds went all the way through both her hands, as this poor unfortunate woman made a hopeless and futile attempt to stop the blows and butchery to her person.

I also believe if you lie and frame someone for a crime, the lying framer gets the maximum punishment the innocent person was facing.

Would really cut down on lying accusers in the court system, who rarely face any serious negative consequences in todays legal system for lying and framing innocent people.

My ex brother-in-law and I were the only white boys in a five points district back when. It was sketchy. Good food, though.

Well, if the payment is tied to a credit card online, why worry about someone skipping out on her fare?
