keep in mind that wikipedia is HEAVILY compromised by corporations who have a vested interest in a certain outcome. In other words, if you alter an article to be truthful, and that truth is not in the best interests of a large corporation willing to spend to get the entries removed, then your truthful addition to an article will be gone before you can re-read it.

this has been proven over and over again and one of the founders of wikipedia, who is no longer there, has called this out on more than one occasion.
