I’m 60, one comorbidity and a first responder, so I got the jab.
The tinnitus I now have has been reported as a side effect of the vaccine and is driving me nuts.
It’s so loud.
And people complained about cicadas. This is cicadas on steroids.
I have had tinnitus for decades...
I’d love to say you get use to it. but..
you learn to live with it.
Oh no... I know a lady who got the jab 4 months ago and still has ringing in her ears.
Hope things get better for you.

Man, I’m sorry to hear this. Sounds awful.
I got that last year, pre-vax. Vax didn't change anyting, still loud. It is somatic tinnitus (gets louder when I clench ny jaw). Mine was possibly from a very early 2020 case of COVID. Or it just happened as part of getting older.

It is a pain.
I’ve had tinnitus for many years. It can be annoying, especially when I think about it. It does help to get busy and do something, anything, to focus your mind. It doesn’t get rid of the ringing, but if you’re focused on something else, it’s tolerable.
At night, I like to put on a podcast on a timer when I am falling asleep so I can listen to a show instead of the hum in my head.
If you knew in advance you would have to endure this particular side effect, would you still get the vaccine?
