Wyden delays Biden border nominee, seeking answers on federal actions during Oregon protests

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) is stalling the confirmation hearing of President Biden’s pick to run U.S. Customs and Border Protection over questions about the federal government’s role in quelling protests in his home state.

Chris_Magnus, Biden's pick of "law enforcement" is the closest thing to a signal of surrender to all who want to be here illegally.

Why are federal officers now patrolling the streets of Portland enforcing street crimes???

The below statement by the third senator from New York is such garbage. DHS officers quashed the first attempt by the rioters to attack federal buildings and never moved beyond the perimeter of federal property. From then on they just had to put up yellow tape and arrest the one or two people who touched it. So says the FPS officer I know who was called up to support the federal officers in Portland.

The peaceful protests ended in the afternoon. Then another group formed and proceeded to destroy businesses in downtown Portland as the city police were ordered to stand aside.
