I can’t possibly see how an invasion by sea involving hundreds of transport vehicles and millions of troops could be carried out against a modern country armed with contemporary military technology. You’d have to wipe out their defenses first. And you certainly wouldn’t achieve any level of surprise.
There won’t be a war.
Biden will hand over Taiwan without a fight, or even lifting a finger, other than his middle finger at republicans for pointing out his lack of action.
Perhaps he’ll write a harshly worded letter to the Chinese, but, but that would be to the Chinese in Taiwan.
Taiwan will be invaded before January 2025. Why? If you have to ask you haven’t been paying attention.

Taiwan probably has quite a few teams to be delivered or already in place to start killing off the Red leadership if the Reds try to invade. The Red infrastructure may be very vulnerable as well. Remember a few years ago when a few well placed shots knocked out sizable parts of our power grid? Also, you don’t have to blow up a dam if you can get inside and drain the oil from the turbines. The dam is still intact but it may take years to replace the turbines once they seize. Just a few ideas...

Taiwan has enough anti-air and anti-ship missiles to sink pretty much anything China tries to sail or fly over there.
The PRC would win, but it would be the winning entry for “Pyrrhic” victory for the next millennium.
They will use economics, PR, and fifth columnists to discourage Taiwan until they give up on their own.
If there was ever a time for China to do it, this is it.
• Biden is senile.
• Biden’s son (and thus Biden) have been bought off by China.
• The VP & first lady (who run the show) are close commies.
• The Democrat party (which runs all 3 branches of government) actually supported Cuba’s communist government over protestors—they too are pro communist.
• American media is in China’s pocket.
• America’s military leadership has degenerated into PC madness.
The stars won’t align for China to take Taiwan like this again for a long time.
Logically, they have no choice but to go for it NOW, or admit they will never recover Taiwan.
It’s in the CCPs interest to keep fanning the flames of war without actually committing to an invasion of Taiwan. It keeps the populace focused on an external enemy to deflect any even limited criticism of the CCP.
There is also a rather obvious attempt by the CCP, much like any bully, to try and goad Taiwan into attacking. Look at the recent incursion into Taiwan’s airspace by the CCP as the most recent example. If they can provoke Taiwan into responding to one of these incursions, then they can use it as an excuse for invasion claiming Taiwan struck first. I’m convinced by their actions the Taiwanese are not falling for these pathetic attempts to start a war.
If China wants to decimate the global economy back to the pre-40's era, take out the fabs.

Keep in mind that every Chinese soldier, sailor or airman will be an only child and responsible for supporting the family. They will lose lots of them and their parents will not be supportive.

100 miles of open ocean isn’t exactly the English Channel and doesn’t provide good conditions for a surprise amphibious assault on Taiwan. Wǒmen jiàn dào nǐ!
