NBC aired a brief segment on Biles where she seemed a bit overwhelmed, and said it was difficult to continue to do the extensive training needed every day, she always had some nagging injury, and at 24 years old, she didn’t have the same energy she had at 19.
I found it surprisingly negative for a media puff piece on a favored Olympic athlete - but now it seems to have a basis in reality.
Saw that last night. Knew she couldn’t handle the pressure at that point.
if she notices energy change at 24 (from 19) she might have underlying issue brewing. kids in 20’s should have plenty of energy. or her mind has checked out and she doesn’t care/have the passion like she maybe once did
