As a conservative resident of the formerly great state of Maryland, allow me to weigh in: Hogan is delusional. I think he believes that his tepid support from the leftist writers at The Baltimore Sun - coupled with his barnstorming tour of CNN and MSNBC - translates into a bipartisan consensus. Nothing could be further from the truth. He also believes that the Republican party needs an alternative to Trump in order to secure support from moderates and independents - and he's that alternative. I was happy when he was elected; we had just suffered through eight years of the deluded leftist leprechaun Martin O'Malley and Hogan offered a change for Maryland. But, Hogan has turned out to be a
major disappointment. The comparisons to Chris Christie are appropriate - they're both corpulent RINOs who think they're more popular than they actually are.
If Hogan were to run, he would get less votes than Owe'Malley - another Maryland loser.
Sorry, Larry - the only way you're going to the White House is by invitation.
