Two Asians in America (one a defector from Communist North Korea) discuss the "attack on merit" and how Asian-Americans are crucial to preserving meritocracy in the U.S.
They discuss "critical race ideology" and how Asian-Americans are being discriminated against in favor of Blacks and Hispanics who are being given preferential treatment because of race, not merit.
The preference for "equity" over "equality" has spilled over from academia and is now infecting corporations and other areas (even such things as music), where Asians are being made to feel "ashamed of their race" and "merit" in general.
Kenny Xu also brings up the attacks by Blacks on Asian-Americans. Here is his best quote: "To say that one community needs to be celebrated while another community needs to be denigrated is the essence of racism."
Asian-Americans need to speak up more when being discriminated against (for example, against Harvard's blatant racist policies). If people continue to use race anywhere and everywhere, it is going to destroy the country.

“To say that one community needs to be celebrated while another community needs to be denigrated is the essence of racism.”
Merit is a shameful attribute and anyone who hires by merit or ability is a Racist.
Where I work now has several 20 something Asians.
They bust their butts! Impressive.
Very different work ethic than most of the kids of other races.
It’s not skin color, it’s culture.
For anyone interested there is a Twitter account I found called Asian Dawn.
This site posts videos and news stories of the seemingly endless attacks on Asian Americans. I’m sure you can guess what the attackers all have in common.
An eye opening account.
Some of the hard working, family oriented Americans are of Asian descent.
It’s sickening what the left is doing to this country.
Choosing race above everything else is so wrong.
It’s positive peer pressure. My kids benefitted from that even though they are not Asian themselves. Just being with peers who appreciated brains and effort helped them feel good about being intellectual nerds and try-hards.
You make a good point.
All my kids have advanced degrees and always had Asian friends.
And here I thought it I was the influencer! LOL. Probably couldn’t have done it without the Asians.
Slackers with limited cranial capacity are treated as victims and given wildly special privileges. Hard working geniuses are treated unfairly.
Then the “victims” hate the others.
Bingo!!!! EXACTLY!
How many Asian Americans continue to vote Democrat despite their blatant racism against Asians?
For that matter, how many White Americans vote Democrat despite their blatant racism against White people?
Hans: The following people are to be released from their captors : In Northern Ireland, the seven members of the New Provo Front. In Canada, the five imprisoned leaders of Liberte de Quebec... In Sri Lanka, the nine members of the Asian Dawn movement...
Karl: Asian Dawn Movement?
Hans: I read about them in Time magazine
Yeon Mi Park was the one who went on Jordan Peterson’s podcast and said that her 4 years at Columbia were a complete waste of time. She was chosen to study there by some NGO, but she said that once she got there, she found their marxist propaganda even more ridiculous than that she left in North Korea.
Blacks hate Asians - pure jealous rage.
I worked with a male engineer with black skin. (I refuse to call him “black.”) He had two technical degrees. Growing up in Pittsburgh, he hung out with kids who had white skin. He attributed his association with them with his being able to achieve his educational goals. Because their culture - at least in this case - was more positive than what he was used to.
