We keep seeing the “effectiveness” of the vaccines against the variants matched down to round 40%, last I saw.
Under normal circumstances, it would be considered misleading advertising to claim a product is “effective” when it works only 40% of the time. Would anyone board an aircraft that had only a 40% chance of arriving at its destination?
