There were family members, coworkers, and others who tipped of the FBI in advance about the Boston bombers, the Olander shooter, Nidal Hassan, and others. Even James Woods tipped off the FBI about the 9-11 hijackers when he saw them on a dry run (or aborted mission).

All of the data gathering the FIB is doing is NOT to make us safer. They were given damaging statements time and time again and cut loose jihadists because they were only being picked on because of islamphobia.
