Immigrants from oppressed nations were able to overcome their victim status through employment, equal opportunity and individual liberty.

The communists are trying to erase the foundation of this nation as the only place on Earth where one can escape victimhood.

The hazard of identification with the victim status is not so much succumbing to circumstance as it is setting the stage for identifying a perpetrator to blame. This why beneath all the helplessness and disavowal of responsibility, is anger. Self-perceived “victims” are angry people, often clothing their aggression in the sheep’s clothing of righteous indignation..

What is a disability? It can come and go like a hangover. It can be a weapon to shut you down. It can be an excuse to control you. And it can be limitless.

A child is born blind and will never see. Should that stop him/her from their efforts to what they consider a normal life? Normalcy is an opinion, not a measurement.

A recognition like this that decries the failure of happiness or the success of a person because of a disability is an injustice and a pandering to hold back people. And this tool has been used for many years whether it exists or not. Tell that to Stevie Wonder, Lou Ferrigno, Ingvar Kamprad, Penelope Trunk, Barbara Corcoran, Dan Aykroyd, JK Rowling, Paul Orfalea....and many more.

We live in a world of victims. If you succumb, you’re a victim. If you fight back, win or lose, you’re a victim. But if you don’t consider yourself a victim, do you have a disability?
