I recall a recent poll, showing that Trump would defeat Kamala in a hypothetical 2024 election. yes, I’m sure the Democrats are in a quandary, in that, if Joe doesn’t complete this term, Kamala will be the incumbent president for 2024, and how would they dislodge her as the 2024 nominee? When is the last time an incumbent president was denied the nomination?
I know Reagan made a strong challenge to President Ford in 1976, but in the end Ford prevailed. Ted Kennedy challenged Jimmy Carter, and Carter prevailed to be renominated.
Maybe somewhere in history a sitting president has been denied renomination for reelection, but the point is, it’s got to be difficult to imagine a President Kamala being denied the chance to run in 2024.
Incumbent Franklin Pierce was denied the Dem nomination in 1856. That’s it. There’s been speculation that LBJ might have lost the nomination to a Bobby Kennedy or someone else in ‘68 if he hadn’t bowed out.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME....???JUST LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE...........
Trump totally curb stomped PedoJoe in the ‘20 election.
What did that get us?
they were hoping he’d make it past the two year mark so kamala taking over wouldnlt count as a first term for her.
I think JFK was denied his second term nomination. I think that’s how they will dislodge Kamala.
Not to worry, not only will she be nominated but will win in an electoral and vote total landslide; the Dems didn’t take control of the voting system for laughs and giggles.
