I think most of the GOP is scared of Trump supporters (scared of the monster they helped create and enable) and were honestly shocked in a naive sort of way by 1/6 especially the ones there. But then they want those votes and all that crazy enthusiasm and certainly don’t want to be Liz Cheney Romney or Pence, so it’s a dangerous fence they ride

Larry Hogan comes from a background of low-rent people. His father was a congressthing from Md, the first to call for Nixon’s impeachment, and the only Republican to vote for impeachment on all three counts. So his fat son gets it legitimately - you can do quite well and stick out from the minority party if you publicly turn your back on the base and its leadership; you will get all sorts of accolades and cheap trinkets as rewards in cheap trinkets from the Establishment.

Why is Hogan so obsessed with a six hour disturbance?
What was the role of the Democrats in setting it up? Why did Nancy Pelosi tell the Capital Police to stand down? Who gave the order to open the doors? Why are the Democrats protecting the killer of Ashli Babbit, the only person killed during the disturbance? Did FBI agents participate and try to incite the participants?
Why would a single Republican be obsessed with a six hour disturbance? Does Hogan hate Trump so much that it overshadows any common sense and discernment?
The "disturbance" on January 6, 2021, took place over a period of six hours, after a peaceful rally by President Donald J. Trump. The disturbance started around 4 pm; it was pretty much over by 10 pm.
What is desperately missing is the creation of a Commission to get the truth about Antifa and BLM, and their contributions to the disturbance.
