Since it takes a 40 lb battery to equal the power in 6 ounces of gas aren’t they worried the world will turn over from the extra weight? Not to mention the roads carrying heavier loads and no gas tax to siphon off to make Rest Areas.

And with all natural gas and/or coal powered electric plants along with all nuclear power plants being shut down, there won’t be enough electricity to recharge the batteries. And when the hydro-electric dams go, it will only be worse.
