I blame the mess on Canadian NOT being prepared to inoculate a large fraction of its population. Why the Canadian government didn't make a huge buy of the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines back in January 2021 still puzzles me.

As of last week, Canada has vaccinated a higher percentage of their population than the U.S.

And is piling onto their lead by one percentage point per day.
