I rather thought the notebook found in the hotel room that was searched while the dinner party was going on that had notes from the embassy documents was much more interesting a story than just documents at a party. The authors lost
the real headline. Secret notebooks can be so intriguing. Not that I expected earth shaking revelations from the Philippine embassy, but still.

I thought she discovered them while having a dinner party in her hotel room.
