Republican U.S. Sen. James Lankford would seem to have all the conservative credentials he'd need to coast to re-election in deep-red Oklahoma.
A devout Baptist, Lankford was the director of the nation’s largest Christian youth camp for more than a decade. He speaks out regularly against abortion and what he describes as excessive government spending. And his voting record in the Senate aligned with former President Donald Trump’s position nearly 90% of the time.
But like several other seemingly safe GOP incumbents, Lankford, who didn't even draw a primary opponent in 2016, finds himself under fierce attack by a challenger in his own party. The antagonist is a 29-year-old evangelical minister and political newcomer who managed to draw more than 2,000 people to a “Freedom Rally" headlined by Donald Trump's former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, at which Lankford was accused of being not conservative enough.
“When James (Lankford) certified the big lie, he joined the big lie," Jackson Lahmeyer told the raucous crowd in Norman, citing Lankford's failure to endorse Trump's false claims about the election outcome. “The 2020 presidential election — that was a stolen election and we will never, ever allow it to happen again.” The state's GOP chairman, John Bennett, has already endorsed Lahmeyer in the race.

Lankford is certainly no Rand Paul and Definitely NOT a major factor in preserving Personal Liberty nor in promoting financial propriety of gov’t.

If this country is going to be saved it will need people with backbones. Might as well get rid of the weak ones now.
If somehow a bush league chamber of commerce worshipping republiCAN’T manages to survive a primary, then they must be defeated in the general election.
It’s up to us to change the direction of the party. The only way to do this is to get rid of those that have betrayed us.
ALL of them.
But, by no means does that mean you should stay home. There are down party candidates that need our support.
Elected judges need to be replaced.
School boards need to be replaced.
Hell, even the dog catcher needs replacing.
We know how democommies think and act.
We can’t predict how a traitor will act.

Doesn’t work like that. Once back in they have 6 more years to play their game. Term limits won’t happen. Do it where you can. Places like Alaska, SD and let’s not forget OKLAHOMA!

There may be third-party candidates. If the RINOs lose by a margin less than the third-party vote total and the down-ballot candidates win, even these morons should be able to figure out what that means.
On the other hand, Republicans have a virtually infinite ability to learn the wrong lesson from any situation.

.... And just so yall know. In Pennsylvania the Republicans voted for act 77 which created the mail in vote fiasco, which by the way, no excuse mail in balloting cannot be changed except by a constitutional amendment..
Wouldn't be nice to have Republican Senators and House members trying out do each other in cutting spending and wholesale shuttering of federal agencies? I don't think there is one senator that even talks about cutting anything.
