Boris Johnson apologises to businesses over 'pingdemic' after more than half a million told to isolate

Boris Johnson has apologised to businesses impacted by a rising number of staff members having to self-isolate due to coming into close contact with a positive coronavirus case.

Speaking at the last PMQs before the summer recess, the prime minister - himself isolating at Chequers after coming into contact with COVID-positive Health Secretary Sajid Javid - said "everybody understands the inconvenience of being pinged".

He added: "I apologise to everybody in business up and down the land in all kinds of services - public sector or otherwise - who are experiencing inconvenience.

"We will be switching, as the House knows, to a system based on contact testing rather than contact isolation - but, until then, I just must remind everybody that isolation is a vital tool of our defence against the disease."

This is the latest bright idea to have an App on your phone order you to isolate if you come in contact with someone who apparently has COVID.

Businesses - who have just reopened - are deserted as a result.

What a kick in the teeth!

Someone is making money out of it I guess (usually this is the case...)

“Someone is making money out of it I guess”

There’s a whole new testing business empire being created. My other half is busy working 60+ hour weeks to certify all these new organisations. They are not going to give up their new found income stream.

I didn’t load the app - and merely photograph the QR codes when visiting restaurants etc. My life is just too precious to be holed up for 10 days because some $50billion tracing system pings me to say I might have been near to someone who might have the plague.

ITS JUST A FLU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

99.8% SURVIVABILITY RATE ~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And that’s IF you go around outside, and IF you come in contact with someone, and IF they have covid, and IF they are symptomatic, and IF you catch it, and IF YOU become symptomatic... you have 99.8% chance of surviving.

The dumbing down of the population is complete.

The NHS covid app is a complete joke.
The algorithms are garbage. How the heck do you pinged 500,000 people in just one week? At the rate, everybody in the UK will be isolating by the end of the year.
The British government has spent a massive £37 Billion on Test and trace alone through the NHS. And it failed to deliver anything.

Especially as Boris Johnson himself tried to wiggle out of isolating when he got pinged. That is until there was a public outrage forcing him to back down.

No bid contracts going to political donors. Rampant corruption.

All will come out in good time I’m pretty certain of it.

Politics is dirty.

Yeah, the truth will likely be told, eventually, but nothing will happen to anyone. At most we’ll get “policies need to be implemented to make sure this doesn’t happen again,” and that’s it. That’s all we ever get from government wrong-doing.

Boris needs to appoint a so called Public Health Czar, someone who can serve as the public target for both disinformation and anger.
His own Dr.Fauci as it were.

He had one.

Hancock couldn't keep it zipped and was outted.

So now...

Journalists could face up to 14 years in prison for stories embarrassing the Government under proposed changes to the Official Secrets Act that would treat them like foreign SPIES

The UK has a Deep State, too. And CoupFlu has never been about public health there, either.

“In accordance to the principles of Doublethink, it does not matter if the war is not real, or when it is, that victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won. It is meant to be continuous. The essential act of modern warfare is the destruction of the produce of human labor. A hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. In principle, the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects. And its object is not victory over Eurasia or Eastasia, but to keep the very structure of society intact.” “1984”

The Wuhan flu has replaced war as the elites tool of choice, but the purpose has not changed.

And how much longer will it be before it won't be "self-isolate", and you'll get "help" to "isolate", in the form of jackbooted thugs hauling you off to COVID jail, for the "crime" of getting too close to someone with a bad cold?

In Australia, their "health director" or whatever she calls herself, has said that people should not SPEAK to one another, even if they're wearing a stupid mask on their stupid face. Think about that.

Seems to me that's not all there is to apologize for. Spygate wasn't a one-off, was it...

There are certainly Fauci equivalents (or near-equivalents) in the UK. Not Hancock (who as Secretary of State for Health was an elected politician). They are Chris Whitty, the Government’s Chief Medical Officer, and Patrick Vallance, the Chief Scientific Adviser. Unlike Fauci, however, they have not become willingly or unwillingly politicised, and so are not such divisive figures. Not everybody agrees with what they say, of course, but by and large they’re respected, and nobody questions their integrity.
