That is not his job. His job is to uphold the law. Actually, specifically, his job is to craft legislation.

Semi, respectfuuly, no public official has that charge. Public officials are charged to faithfully execute Constitutional laws and legal orders emanating therefrom. The charge as you define it is exactly what dictators and tyrants use to usurp power and destroy freedom.
My health-or anyone else’s-is not the “safety” public officials/government are supposed to be concerned with-and attempts to coerce, threaten, and outright lie to people is not only infringing on people’s rights, it is definitely not conducive to keeping people “safe”-whatever that means-the only safety the government needs to be concerned with is protecting the people from attack, etc-and if the CIA, FBI and all the other overt and covert security our tax dollars finance had been watching China instead of chasing Russian conspiracy theories, etc, the virus might not have even gotten out of China to be used as a way to steal an election and break an economy-those security agencies need to be re-organized, people fired, then put back into their own lane and made to stay there-after this fiasco, it is obvious they can’t even keep the fish in an aquarium safe...
