Hard words and even the most cursory understanding of how a state has a clearly Socialist, nigh on Communist, major party survive through the 1940s and 1950s would allow nearly anyone to draw the same conclusion on political naivete, even from a distance. For the uninformed, the party I reference is the Democrat Farm-Labor party, dba “Democrats”.
