After many trips to China over the years, I will never return. I hope my wife can meet her family outside of China, as I fear they will not allow her to return if she goes there to visit them.

This is why Communist regimes eventually collapse. East Germany had one in four citizens employed as spies. It is unsustainable.

The question is how much regular folks will put up with before they overthrow it.
