Texas Representative Introduces Bill to Audit 13 Most-Populous Counties’ Election Results
Epoch Times ^ | 07/19/2021 | Jack Phillips

A Texas House representative announced Monday he’s introducing a bill for a forensic audit of the most populous counties’ election results.

According to the text of House Bill 241, introduced by Republican state Rep. Steve Toth, forensic reviews of counties with more than 415,000 population should be carried out before Nov. 1, 2021, and they should be completed before Feb. 1, 2022.

“Not later than March 1, 2022,” the bill’s text states, “the independent third party conducting the audit under this section shall submit a report to the governor, lieutenant governor, speaker of the house of representatives, and each member of the legislature detailing any anomalies or discrepancies in voter data, ballot data, or tabulation.”

The counties that should be audited, according to the bill, include Harris, Dallas, Bexar, Tarrant, Collin, Travis, Denton, Hidalgo, Fort Bend, El Paso, Williamson, Montgomery, and Cameron.

It’s not clear whether the Republican-led Texas Legislature has the appetite for the sweeping audit, which would be one of the largest election reviews in U.S. history. The Epoch Times has contacted House Speaker Dade Phelan’s office and Republican Senate President Pro Tempore Donna Campbell for comment.

A news release posted by Toth on Monday cited recent comments from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who said last month that about 500 election fraud cases are being prosecuted by his office—although scant details have been provided to date. During a speech at CPAC this month, Paxton said he’s investigating 400 more fraud cases.

His release also included a statement of support from Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough, who said Toth’s “proposed bill is timely and necessary” in potentially “exposing any instances of fraud during the 2020 election and reassuring Texas voters.”

“Yes, but what’s wrong with Texas? Trump won this state. Is the suspicion that Trump should have won the state by an even wider margin?”

The Dem counties will ratchet up the fraud the closer TX gets. An audit that exposes practices and people accompanied by some jail terms should have a prophylactic effect on people who until now, thought vote fraud was easy and without consequences.

Yes, but what’s wrong with Texas? Trump won this state. Is the suspicion that Trump should have won the state by an even wider margin?

The population of Texas increased by 4 million between the 2010 and the 2020 censuses.

That's about 400,000 per year.

So, between 2016 and 2020, the Texas population increased about 1.6 million [give or take].

Joe Biden got 1.36 million more votes than Hillary! in 2016, while President Trump got 1.19 million more votes in 2020 in Texas than he did in 2016.

While Trump was increasing his popularity in Texas, Jao Xiden was scooping up ALL the influx of voters from 2016 to 2020, plus hundreds of thousands more.

Neat trick.

1.36 + 1.19 >> 1.6

The story seems to be more than a bit complicated.

Yes, but they'll be looking at cities like Houston and Austin

Moreover, they will demonstrate that audits can be conducted in Red States too. It will make an interesting comparison to places like Philadelphia or Atlanta, if true audits are ever done there.

Finally - America needs to see over and over again: How is that the 2nd and 3rd most populous states in the Nation can conduct complaint-free elections, and have results turned in by 10pm on election night - while lefty shyteholes had to shut down, hide counting, and engage in all kinds of BS while reporting results many days and weeks later???

1.36 + 1.19 >> 1.6

The story seems to be more than a bit complicated.

The 1.6 million increase between 2010 and 2020 was ALL incomers - including children, who don't vote [yet - LOL!].

Figure .8 million to 1 million new voters [VERY generously], and ALL of them voting.

Normal Texas turnout is 30 percent to 33 percent of the total population [the 0bama turnout was 33 percent].

Jao Xiden INSPIRED the turnout in Texas to the tune of 38 percent - 1.49 million MORE "voters" than would normally turn out...

“Jao Xiden INSPIRED the turnout in Texas”

[I’m sure you are kidding about Dat.]

You have a good partial explanation.

The math has yet to be completed.

[Then there would be the County X County data exposition]

5 percent MORE than the fanatical turnout for The Lightbringer in 2008.

Let that sink in.

When you start digging in to the county by county totals in many states over the last 9 presidential election cycles, your eyes go wide.

Someone tipped me to Missouri.

The Lightbringer came within 4,000 votes of beating The Maverick in 2008.

In 2012, 250,000 "Democrats" forgot to make it to the polls against Milt.

After that, the forgetful Missouri "Democrats" increased into the 500,000 range...

Montgomery County is one of the most Republican counties in Texas. Home county of Rep. Steve Toth.
