So he didn't agree with a tariff, but he says, "But in general, I do believe the president is actually working hard to move this country in the right direction.” That's not how I would define a hater.

Everyone else is saying the opposite and he hates Trump so much he is getting pics with him and looking forward to his speeches. Maybe he isn't a pom-pom boy, but just maybe he isn't the extreme hater you make him out to be and he is being selected for other reasons, his security background.
