And now it’s time for an old Soviet joke.
Stalin is watching a May Day parade in Moscow. In the parade are tanks, missile launchers, and column after column of troops. And at the very front of the parade a group of men are walking. They’re all in business suits and carrying briefcases.
Stalin: “Who are those men in business suits?”
Aide: “They are economists, Comrade Stalin.”
Stalin: “Why are they at the front of the parade?”
Aide: “It is a position of honor. They are the most dangerous men of all.”
