Is this an attempt to save Governor Kemmp and Secretary of State Raffensperger from criminal prosecution?

I don’t know anything about the integrity of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Look for a story about ballots being destroyed right after the election, and observers showed up. The GBI was called in and 'took over' the investigation before returning the ballots to the shredders on the spot. Don't recall the reason given for the shredding.

Remember, law enforcement agencies only investigate crimes. They don’t prosecute crimes. Prosecutorial power in the states is vested ENTIRELY in elected officials.

You sill have to find an elected DA or state AG who has the appetite to prosecute whatever the GBI would find.

Yeah they are trying to save their butts. Looking for a scapegoat. Lower levels will be blamed but will get no real charges. They will be given a out.
