>>The biggest missing name is conservative radio talk show host Larry Elder, a Republican and regular guest on Fox News, who announced his candidacy July 12, bringing a well-known voice on the political right to a GOP field trying to oust Newsom.
>>But he wasn’t on the list released Saturday by the Secretary of State of candidates who met the requirements to be placed on the Sept. 14 ballot.
Larry Edler is a Libertarian (who votes Republican).

>>If Newsom is recalled, then whoever on the list of potential replacements gets the most votes is the new governor of the nation's most populous state. With numerous candidates and no clear front-runner, it's possible the winner might get less than 25% of the votes.

And yet the article claims that there are TOO FEW candidates, that more names on the ballot would indicate a greater likelihood of Newsome being ousted.

Persevero pointed out #13, California patriots getting Newsom out of governor's office should also help to keep him out of Oval Office.

The biggest missing name is conservative radio talk show host Larry Elder, He will be a candidate. He filed at the 11th hour and the SOS still hadn't finished processing the paperwork. There will be an updated list next week.

I was a regular listener of his show (until he had to step down to run).
I’m not taken by his replacement so far. Will there only be one host or a rotating roster?

Perhaps some of the 21 are actually Dems running as GOPers to dilute the R vote. Do you see that as a possibility? I would not put it past them.

I believe their thinking is the more candidates, the likelihood is better for voters to recall Newsom, since there may be a candidate in which a voter will turn out for. In other words, I may not like any of the 41 candidates, but if there’s 100 candidates, I may like one of those. There’s no reason to vote no if I don’t like any of the replacements.

The winner is the one with the most votes, even if it’s 10%.

...The biggest missing name is conservative radio talk show host Larry Elder This is THE MAN ! Not only is he highly intelligent, eloquent, passionate, and devoted to America , he's Black! He is perhaps an even bigger nightmare to the left than Donald himself. I'd crawl though broken glass to vote for this man!

Larry Elder is good, but John Cox is better.

Is Denver Stoner any relation to J.B. Stoner, the Nazi leader in Georgia in the 60s and 70s? Rumor was that the man he was living with was his boyfriend, I don’t think he had any children.
