Not a particularly bad neighborhood. South Capitol Street, by the Navy Yard. (Some people jokingly suggested that they get Old navy to be the corporate sponsor, so the place could be the Old Navy Yard.)
However, it is pretty much on the Anacostia River. Across the river is Audi Field, the soccer stadium. It’s in a worse neighborhood than Nationals Park.
I’ve, in the somewhat distant, past driven through there during the Day. Kept swiftly moving on.
Will NEVER drive through there again. Call me privileged...
