Harding County New Mexico is twice the size of Rhode Island and only has 600 inhabitants. Go west for room to breathe.
Take a drive from Dallas to El Paso, plenty of room to breathe in on that drive. From Pecos to the eastern edge of El Paso County, the speed limit on the interstate is 85 mph.
Another favorite area of mine is Southern Utah/Northern Arizona, one of the best areas in the world for star gazing.
