Could this be one of the ugliest truths South Africa will ever have to face during its democratic era? There is now mounting evidence that the riots, which have crippled operations in KZN and Gauteng, were forensically organised by a group of politically connected ‘Zuma loyalists’ seeking insurrection – and there are receipts to back these claims up.
Leaked WhatsApp conversations have been made public online, showing a group of influential political figures plotting their path towards destabilisation. The screenshots paint a terrifying picture of the origins of these riots, and the investigative team over at the Daily Maverick has verified their authenticity…
Earlier in the week, Cabinet confirmed that there are ‘twelve instigators’ believed to be behind the scenes of outright destruction. They allegedly include the likes of Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla (Msholozi’s daughter) and Thulani Dlomo, a top spy who has remained diligently by Jacob Zuma’s side over the years.
The government, essentially, has already confirmed an attempt to undermine the state’s abilities to govern. By the definition of experts, this constitutes an insurrection. Granted, many of those looting and joining the riots are opportunists, motivated by hunger and poverty rather than the affairs of a former president.
But the first few flames were apparently fanned by those looking to settle some political scores. David Everatt, a Professor of Urban Governance at the University of the Witwatersrand, believes that some of the most vulnerable people in South Africa have been weaponised as ‘useful tools’ in an ongoing insurrection attempt...

The more I read about South Africa and their one-party, socialist, welfare-state, dependent, kleptocracy government, the more I am reminded of places like Chicago.

I knew they were having trouble with murders, arson and such but I hope this doesn’t mean they’ve descended to walking around unarmed in their capitol building.
Now that is more like it.
Not the visit to the capitol by unarmed citizens who were let in by capitol police.
