Berlin police on Wednesday announced that it had raided apartments and rooms connected to five of its officers after it was found that they had shared racist and anti-government content in an online chat group with 12 members.
The officers were said to have distributed images and caricatures depicting racist, right-wing imagery as well as unconstitutional symbols. The department said the operation had been "a success" and that evidence was currently being evaluated.

First thing that popped into my head when I saw that title was the movie “Fahrenheit 451”.
From spring of this year, the Federal Police of German (not the state guys) said that they had around 46,000 members, and that 1,600 were of a immigrant background (I suspect it’s mostly Turks, Poles, and Russians). There might be a few Syrians now in the mix as well.
The general problem leads off into two directions. One is recruitment is having problems in getting people who can pass the entry tests so they’ve lowered standards over the past decade. The second is that German cops on patrol are facing a serious amount of problems that they would not have encountered in the 1990s, with drug issues increasing, and disrespect a day to day affair now.
Police needs a stress relief outlet and social media provides that....but the ‘jokes’ and the criticism is bothering the politicians to the extent....that the police are now under continual review. What you can say...a lot of police will end up leaving the system, and they won’t be able to find capable people willing to do the job.
There’s only one group they’re afraid of.
I guess anyone with a big joke poster of Adolf Hitler would be regretting that choice.
I posted that in a group page on Facebook. I received a warning and the post was pulled.
images and caricatures depicting racist, right-wing imagery as well as unconstitutional symbolsYou better hope they don't find out you're posting on this website.
Right-wing imagery?
Facebook and its “independent fact checkers” have no sense of irony, that’s for certain. If I posted that I would get a warning and perhaps a visit from a behavior modification unit.
Remember when 1984 was a work of literature and not an instruction manual?
First they came for Hitler.
Next they came for Trump.
Then they came for God, Jehovah, Jesus, Moses or Buddha. (Nobody posts anything with Mohammed’s picture on it, and lives.
However, you CAN POST all the pictures you want of Mao, Xi and his Tianamen Square massacre leaders, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot, the Castro Brothers (both Cuban and American reds), the Ortega Brothers (both Nicaraguan reds), Chavez and Maduro (both Venezuelan reds), the Ayatollahs, African dictators, etc. and YOU WILL NOT GET BANNED.
why?
I am hearing that song from a Mel Brooks production: the infamous “Springtime for Hitler in Germany”
Notice how we have switched from ACTIONS (potentially criminal) to THOUGHTS.
Die Gedanken sind frei-nicht!
Best watch out
The thought police are coming after you for unsure thought
You never post anything intelligent.
I never saw one either.
Anything in Germany that Frau Merkel doesn’t like is considered “far right.” Just like the US now. Anything against Chomo Joe is “insurrection” and right wing extremism.
What’s happening is that “far right” thought is being criminalized all over the New World Order, while “far left” thought (which is in power) is defined as normal.
It’s important to recognize that it’s the THOUGHTS that are the problem for our rulers. You see this all the time now.
Some guy commits a crime - he kills someone, let’s say.
They search his apartment. They take his computer. They take his books, if he’s an old guy.
Then, they produce evidence - not of the killing, they don’t even care that he did that.
It’s the evidence of “far right thoughts” that they want.
